The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.

Only one braze repair is permitted per part. A "MB1" marking adjacent to the part number shows that the part was repaired before.

Before repair remove the honeycomb, refer to VRS4041 TASK 72-50-22-300-009 (REPAIR-009) and VRS4042 TASK 72-50-22-300-010 (REPAIR-010).

After repair install the honeycomb, refer to VRS4041 TASK 72-50-22-300-009 (REPAIR-009) and VRS4042 TASK 72-50-22-300-010 (REPAIR-010).

The proprietary nature of this repair requires that any facility not authorized to accomplish this repair either utilize the Authorized Repair Vendors listed below or contact the IAE Repair Services Group to determine if a qualification program can be initiated at their facility.
