TASK 71-00-00-700-061-A00 Oil And Fuel Systems Priming Procedure, Testing-000
Oil and Fuel Systems Priming Procedure
Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-A00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-001).
Make sure the fuel pump inlet has a minimum of 5 psig (34.5 kPa) fuel supply pressure.
Do a wet motor leak check. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-002 (TESTING-002).
Make sure the oil pressure is 10 psig (68.9 kPa) or more in less than 30 seconds after you start to motor the engine.
Make sure the fuel flow is 100 pph or more in less than 30 seconds after you set the mode to FUEL ON.
Fill the oil tank to the top of the filler cap overflow in 5 to 25 minutes after the wet motor leak check is completed. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-A00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-001).
Prime the Oil System
Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-A00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-001).
Dry motor the engine for one minute. Make sure the oil pressure is 10 psi (68.9 kPa) or more after 30 seconds. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-001 (TESTING-001).
Fill the oil tank to the top of the filler cap overflow in 5 to 25 minutes after the dry motor leak check is completed. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-A00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-001).
