TASK 72-00-00-300-005 Combustor Liner Replacement - Project Visit Maintenance, Repair-005 (VRS3826)

General

This repair is not intended to be utilized for normal shop visits for the purpose of scheduled engine/module overhaul or refurbishment where a full on-wing interval is expected. This procedure alone does not permit any engine to be zero-timed (time since level 3 maintenance).

All applicable Airworthiness Directives (AD's) must be complied with for any eligible engine and AD's take precedence over all inspections or repairs for this procedure.

Acceptable magnetic chip collector inspection results.
Engine does not require any reduced interval inspections, except for Outer or Inner Combustion Chamber Assembly hardware.
Engine must pass operator C-check borescope inspection limits or equivalent Engine Manual borescope inspection requirements.
The condition of the HPT Stage 1 BOAS must be satisfactory to EM borescope, with no requirement for reduced interval inspections.TASK 72-00-00-200-004-B00

  1. Disassemble the engine as required to access relevant subassemblies and modules per the V2500 - A1/A5 Engine Manual.

    3. TASK 72-00-44-200-001 Turbine Nozzle Assembly - Project Visit Maintenance

    4. TASK 72-00-45-200-003 HPT Assembly - Project Visit Maintenance

    5. TASK 72-00-50-200-007 LPT Module - Project Visit Maintenance

  2. Examine the HP Compressor Rotor Assembly at interface H-41, Inspection-002, to the extent exposed. Refer to TASK 72-00-40-220-002-B00.

  3. Examine the No. 4 Bearing and Rear Compartment Parts Rear Face at interface L-43, Inspection-002, to the extent exposed. Refer to TASK 72-00-43-220-002.

  4. Examine the LPT module at interface F-50, Inspection-005. Refer to TASK 72-00-50-220-005.

  5. Re-assemble the engine per the V2500-A1/A5 Engine Manual.

Requirements After Job Completion
