SUBTASK 72-32-71-320-054 Machine Worn Pin Hole
No cracks permitted.
Refer to TASK 72-32-71-200-004-B00 (INSPECTION-004, CONFIG-001).
Do a penetrant crack test on the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-71-230-085 Examine the Pin Hole of the Upper Power Arm for Cracks

Refer to the SPM TASK 70-33-02-100-501.
NOTE
Heat treatment is not necessary before chromium plating.Apply a mask, etch and wash the part.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-33-02-100-501.
Put the part fully into a standard chromium plating solution for sufficient time to get the diameter 0.2444 in. (6.210 mm) maximum.

Heat-treat after plating.

Visually examine the chromium deposit for pits, cracks that you can see and burns.

Grind the plated area to the specified dimensions.
