TASK 72-00-40-020-002-B00 HP System Module - Remove And Disconnect The Components, Electrical Harnesses, And Tubes From The Front Of The HPC Case, Removal-002

General

This TASK gives the procedure to remove and disconnect the necessary components, the electrical harnesses and the tubes, so the HP system module can be removed from the LP compressor intermediate case module. Refer to the TASKs which follow for other related procedures:

TASK 72-00-40-020-001-B00 (REMOVAL-001) - Remove the components, the electrical harnesses, the tubes and the brackets from the HP turbine.

TASK 72-00-40-020-003-B00 (REMOVAL-003) - Remove the components, the electrical harnesses and the tubes from the HP compressor vertical splitline.

TASK 72-00-40-020-004 (REMOVAL-004) - Remove the remaining HP system module components and air off-take ducts.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

For all parts identified in a different Chapter/Section/Subject, the applicable Chapter/Section/Subject comes before the Fig/item number.

Apply the approved CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal.

Remove and discard the lockwire before the tube or connector is disconnected.

When electrical connections are disconnected, special plastic caps must be installed.

During the electrical harness removal remove the lacing tape that attaches the different harnesses together.

All tubes, hoses and ducts removed in this procedure must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-THD-V2500-1IA).

Seal all openings to prevent contamination from unwanted materials.

Discard all rubber seal rings removed in this procedure.

NOTE

To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.

NOTE

Special tools are identified in the procedure by the tool primary number.

Procedure

1. Remove the front mount assembly as detailed in TASK 71-00-32-350-001 (REMOVAL).
1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4000JH1-A and 4000JH2-A from the ignition exciter units.
3. Remove the two clamps from each air inlet hose and remove the two air inlet hoses.
4. 1. Pre SBE 74-0002 and Pre SBE 74-0003: Remove the four clamps and the four shrouds from the exciter ends of the harnesses.
  2. SBE 74-0002 and SBE 74-0003: Remove the four clamps and the two shrouds from the exciter ends of the harnesses.
  3. Disconnect the harnesses from the exciters.
  4. Pre SBE 74-0002 and Pre SBE 74-0003: Remove the two front and rear cooling boxes of the two ignition exciters.
  5. SBE 74-0002 and SBE 74-0003: Remove the 24 locking washer nuts that attach the two front and rear cooling boxes.
  6. SBE 74-0002 and Pre SBE 74-0003: Remove the four support brackets from the cooling boxes.
  7. SBE 74-0002 and SBE 74-0003: Remove the two front and rear cooling boxes.
  8. Remove the two air seal washers from the top and bottom ignition exciters.
  9. Pre SBE 74-0001: Remove the three bolts and nuts that attach each exciter box to the cross brackets and remove the exciter boxes.
  10. NOTE
    The ignition exciters must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Bendix Component Maintenance Manual (74-11-38).
    SBE 74-0001: Remove the three bolts and nuts that attach each exciter box to the support brackets and remove the exciter boxes.
1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, and Figure.
2. 1. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4021KS-A and 4021KS-B.
  2. Disconnect the drain tube 36.
  3. Disconnect the servo return tube 41 and remove the packing.
  4. Disconnect the servo supply tube 43 and remove the packing.
  5. Disconnect the servo extend tube 34 and remove the packing.
  6. Disconnect the servo retract tube 33 and remove the packing.
  7. Remove the bolt and the keywasher from the piston jack fork end and disconnect the bleed valve actuating rod. Discard the keywasher.
  8. Remove the bolt, the washer and the clipnut from the clip position 5533.
  9. NOTE
    The LP compressor master bleed actuator must have its maintenance completed, as given in the D.S.I.C. Component Maintenance Manual (75-31-42).
    Remove the four bolts that attach the bleed actuator to the mount bracket and remove the bleed actuator and the bracket LPC Bleed Master Actuator (75-31-42, 01-080).
3. 1. Disconnect the drain tube 35.
  2. Disconnect the servo extend tube 34 and remove the packing.
  3. Disconnect the servo retract tube 33 and remove the packing.
  4. Remove the bolt and the keywasher from the piston jack fork end and disconnect the bleed valve actuating rod. Discard the keywasher.
  5. Pre SBE 75-0035 : Remove the bolt, the washer, the clip and the clipnut from the clip position 5560.
  6. SBE 75-0035 : Remove the bolt, the clip and the clipnut from the clip position 5560.
  7. NOTE
    The LP compressor slave bleed actuator must have its maintenance completed, as given in the D.S.I.C. Component Maintenance Manual (75-31-43).
    Remove the three bolts that attach the bleed actuator to the mount bracket and remove the bleed actuator and the bracket LPC Bleed Slave Actuator (75-31-43, 01-090).

2. 1. Remove the lockwire and the four bolts that attach the mount bracket to the LP compressor/intermediate case rear frame and discard the lockwire. Remove the mount bracket.
3. 1. NOTE
    The two bleed actuator mount brackets must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).
    Remove the lockwire and the four bolts that attach the mount bracket to the LP compressor/intermediate case rear frame and discard the lockwire. Remove the mount bracket.
1. Refer to Figure and Figure.
2. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the nuts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5742, 5831, 5832, 5833, 5834 and 5835.
3. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the nuts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5670, 5714, 5742, 5831, 5832, 5835 and 6081.
4. Disconnect the tube 35 from the tube 45 and remove the tube 35.
5. Disconnect the tube 36 from the tube 47 and remove the tube 36.
6. Disconnect the tube 47 from the Variable Stator Vane (VSV) actuator and from the tube 45 and remove the tube 47.
7. Disconnect the tube 45 from the tube 216 at the bifurcation panel and the Active Clearance Control (ACC) actuator and remove the tube 45.

2. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5675, 5696, 5595, 5557, 5695, 5772, 5714, 5713, 5694, 5692, 5691, 5679, 5678, 5779, 5780, 5654 and 5671.
    SBE 72-0189: 5557, 5595, 5678, 5679, 5695, 5713, 5714, 5772, 5691, 5692, 5694, 6072, 6074, 6075, 6091, 6099 and 6103.
  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
3. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5675, 5696, 5595, 5557, 5695, 5772, 5714, 5713, 5694, 5692, 5691, 5679, 5678, 5779, 5780, 5654 and 5671.
    SBE 72-0189: 5557, 5595, 5678, 5679, 5695, 5713, 5714, 5772, 5691, 5692, 5694, 6072, 6074, 6075, 6091, 6099 and 6103.
  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
4. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5675, 5696, 5595, 5557, 5695, 5772, 5714, 5713, 5694, 5692, 5691, 5679, 5678, 5779, 5780, 5654 and 5671.
    SBE 72-0189: 5557, 5595, 5678, 5679, 5695, 5713, 5714, 5772, 5691, 5692, 5694, 6072, 6074, 6075, 6091, 6099 and 6103.
  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
  3. Pre SBE 71-0111: Disassemble and remove the bolts, the clips, the nuts and the washers which attach the electrical connectors together at the bracket. Remove and discard the lockwire at the bracket, refer to Figure view at A.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-B, 4022KS-C and 4022KS-D from the VSV actuator.
  5. SBE 71-0111: Remove and discard the lockwire from the connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-D, 4022KS-B and 4022KS-C. Remove and discard the lockwire at the bracket, refer to the Figure view at A.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-B, 4022KS-C and 4022KS-D from the VSV actuator.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector 4027KS-A from the ACC actuator.
  8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions 5740, 5741 and 5743.
  9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip from the clip position 5744 and remove the raceway EEC Core Harness And Voltage Divider Harness Assembly (71-52-43, 05-100).
  10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clip, the spacer and the clipnut from the clip position 5690.
  11. Disconnect the thermocouple terminal 4026KS-A.
    Remove the two nuts that attach the EEC harness leads to the terminal block. Remove the harness leads from the terminal block.
    Remove the bolt that attaches the earth terminal to the terminal block bracket, remove the terminal and install the bolt again.
  12. Disconnect the fan speed terminal block (4000VS-1, 4000VS-2, 4000VS-5, 4000VS-6, 4000VS-7 and 4000VS-8).
    Remove the six nuts that attach the EEC harness leads to the terminal block. Remove the harness leads from the terminal block.
  13. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4008VC-A and 4009VC-A from the electrical receptacles 4008VC and 4009VC on the bifurcation panel.
  14. Remove the eight nuts and bolts that attach the electrical receptacles 4008VC and 4009VC to the bifurcation panel and move the receptacles clear of the bifurcation panel.
  15. Remove the lacing tape which attaches the harness looms to each other at the electrical connectors 4008VC-A and 4009VC-A.
  16. Disconnect the electrical connector 4006VC-A from the EEC link harness receptacle.
  17. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips, the clipnuts and the nuts from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5817, 5840, 5750, 5751, 5733, 5732, 5774, 5773, 5693, 5711, 5712, 5660, 5689, 5688, 5763, 5764, 5765, 5725, 5745, 5821, 5820, 5927.
    SBE 72-0189: 5641, 5660, 5688, 5689, 5711, 5725, 5732, 5733, 5745, 5747 (SBE 75-0081), 5750, 5751, 5763 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5764 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5765 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5773, 5774, 5817, 5840, 6058 (SBE 75-0081), 6067, 6073, 6078, 6082, 6083, 6086 and 6094 (Pre SBE 73-0128).
  18. NOTE
    The harnesses removed in this procedure must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-EHC-V2500-1IA).
    Remove the harnesses from the HP compressor case.
5. 1. Remove the bolts, washers, clips and clipnuts from the clip positions 5776 and 6056 and remove the raceway.
6. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector 4008KS-A.
  2. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5221 and 5223.
  3. SBE 72-0189: Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5222, 5223, 5942 and 5998.
  4. NOTE
    The core fire detector must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Rohr Industries Component Maintenance Manual (26-12-19).
    Remove the four nuts and bolts that attach the core overheat detector to the bracket NACELLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR (75-41-15, 05-010).
7. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector 4008KS-A.
  2. Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers and the clips from the clip positions 6117 and 6125.
  3. NOTE
    The core fire detector must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Rohr Industries Component Maintenance Manual (26-12-19).
    Remove the four nuts, bolts and washers that attach the core overheat detector to the bracket AIR-BEARING COMPARTMENT COOLING & SEALING TUBES (75-22-49, 10-062).
1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.
2. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:

  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
3. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5675, 5696, 5595, 5557, 5695, 5772, 5714, 5713, 5694, 5692, 5691, 5679, 5678, 5779, 5780, 5654 and 5671.
    SBE 72-0189: 5557, 5595, 5678, 5679, 5695, 5713, 5714, 5772, 5691, 5692, 5694, 6072, 6074, 6075, 6091, 6099 and 6103.
  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
4. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clipnuts, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5675, 5696, 5595, 5557, 5695, 5772, 5714, 5713, 5694, 5692, 5691, 5679, 5678, 5779, 5780, 5654 and 5671.
    SBE 72-0189: 5557, 5595, 5678, 5679, 5695, 5713, 5714, 5772, 5691, 5692, 5694, 6072, 6074, 6075, 6091, 6099 and 6103.
  2. Move the harness clear of the HP system module and temporarily attach the harness to the bifurcation panel.
  3. Pre SBE 71-0111: Disassemble and remove the bolts, the clips, the nuts and the washers which attach the electrical connectors together at the bracket. Remove and discard the lockwire at the bracket, refer to the Figure view at A.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-B, 4022KS-C and 4022KS-D from the VSV actuator.
  5. SBE 71-0111: Remove and discard the lockwire from the connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-D, 4022KS-B and 4022KS-C. Remove and discard the lockwire at the bracket, refer to the Figure view at A.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4022KS-A, 4022KS-B, 4022KS-C and 4022KS-D from the VSV actuator.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector 4027KS-A from the ACC actuator.
  8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips from the clip positions 5740, 5741 and 5743.
  9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip from the clip position 5744 and remove the raceway EEC Core Harness And Voltage Divider Harness Assembly (71-52-43, 05-100).
  10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clip, the spacer and the clipnut from the clip position 5690.
  11. Disconnect the thermocouple terminal 4026KS-A.
    Remove the two nuts that attach the EEC harness leads to the terminal block. Remove the harness leads from the terminal block.
    Remove the bolt that attaches the earth terminal to the terminal block bracket, remove the terminal and install the bolt again.
  12. Disconnect the fan speed terminal block (4000VS-1, 4000VS-2, 4000VS-5, 4000VS-6, 4000VS-7 and 4000VS-8) and the voltage divider harness assembly sensor leads (Terminal lug A1, B1, D and E).
    Remove the bolt, the nut, the spacers and the clips from the clip position 5732 and remove the sensor lead (Terminal lug C). Temporarily refit the bolt, the clips and the spacers at the clip position 5732 and lightly tighten the bolt.
    Remove the bolt, the nut and the clip from the clip position 6150 and remove the sensor lead (Terminal lug E).
    Remove the six nuts and washers that attach the sensor leads to the terminals on the terminal block.
    Remove the sensor leads from the terminal block.
  13. Disconnect the electrical connectors 4008VC-A and 4009VC-A from the electrical receptacles 4008VC and 4009VC on the bifurcation panel.
  14. Remove the eight nuts and bolts that attach the electrical receptacles 4008VC and 4009VC to the bifurcation panel and move the receptacles clear of the bifurcation panel.
  15. Remove the lacing tape which attaches the harness looms to each other at the electrical connectors 4008VC-A and 4009VC-A.
  16. Disconnect the electrical connector 4006VC-A from the EEC link harness receptacle.
  17. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips, the clipnuts and the nuts from the clip positions that follow:
    Pre SBE 72-0189: 5817, 5840, 5750, 5751, 5733, 5732, 5774, 5773, 5693, 5711, 5712, 5660, 5689, 5688, 5763, 5764, 5765, 5725, 5745, 5821, 5820, 5927.
    SBE 72-0189: 5641, 5660, 5688, 5689, 5711, 5725, 5732, 5733, 5745, 5747 (SBE 75-0081), 5750, 5751, 5763 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5764 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5765 (Pre SBE 75-0081), 5773, 5774, 5817, 5840, 6058 (SBE 75-0081), 6067, 6073, 6078, 6082, 6083, 6086 and 6094 (Pre SBE 73-0128).
  18. Remove the voltage divider harness from the clip position 5732.
  19. NOTE
    The harnesses removed in this procedure must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-EHC-V2500-1IA).
    Remove the harnesses from the HP compressor case.
5. 1. Remove the bolts, washers, clips and clipnuts from the clip positions 5776 and 6056 and remove the raceway.
6. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector 4008KS-A.
  2. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5221 and 5223.
    SBE 72-0189: Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers, the spacers and the clips from the clip positions 5222, 5223, 5942 and 5998.
  3. NOTE
    The core fire detector must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Rohr Industries Component Maintenance Manual (26-12-19).
    Remove the four nuts and bolts that attach the core overheat detector to the bracket NACELLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR(75-41-15,05-010).
7. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector 4008KS-A.
  2. Remove the nuts, the bolts, the washers and the clips from the clip positions 6117 and 6125.
  3. NOTE
    The core fire detector must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Rohr Industries Component Maintenance Manual (26-12-19).
    Remove the four nuts, bolts and washers that attach the core overheat detector to the bracket AIR-BEARING COMPARTMENT COOLING & SEALING TUBES (75-22-49, 10-062).
1. Refer to Figure.
2. Disconnect the fuel servo tubes 44 and 46 from the VSV actuator and remove the two packings.
3. 1. NOTE
    The control rod must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).
    Remove the bolts, the washers and the nuts that attach the control rod to the actuator and the crankshaft. Remove the control rod.
4. Hold the VSV actuator, remove the four bolts and the two washers that attach the actuator to the HP compressor case and remove the actuator. Remove the bracket HPC Variable Stator Vane Actuator (75-32-41, 01-070).
5. NOTE
  The VSV actuator must have its maintenance completed, as given in the D.S.I.C. Component Maintenance Manual (75-32-41).
  Remove the bolt and the washer that attaches the bracket HPC Variable Stator Vane Actuator (75-32-41, 01-080) to the actuator and remove the bracket.
1. Refer to Figure and Figure.
2. Disconnect the fuel servo tubes 27 and 28 from the ACC actuator and remove the two packings.
3. Remove the two bolts that attach the ACC actuator to the bracket HPC Assembly (72-41-00, 03-380) on flange FJ.
4. NOTE
  The ACC actuator must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Parker Hannifin Component Maintenance Manual (75-24-52).
  Remove the two nuts and bolts that attach the ACC actuator to the bracket HP COMPRESSOR SPLIT CASE (72-41-31, 01-118) on the HP compressor case. Remove the ACC actuator.

2. 1. The stage 10 bleed air tube 16 from the tube 168.
  2. The No. 5 bearing oil tube 20 from the tube 124.
  3. The stage 7 bleed air tube 32 from the tube 161.
  4. The cabin bleed air tube 48 from the tube 153.
  5. The PS3 sense tube 53 from the tube 138.
  6. The No. 4 bearing scavenge oil tube 55 from the tube 127.
  7. The P4.9 pressure rake air tube 56 from the tube 157.
  8. The bearing oil feed tube 57 from the tube 177.
  9. The servo extend fuel tube 60 from the tube 93.
  10. The servo extend fuel tube 61 from the tube 106.
  11. The fuel supply tube 62 from the tube 95.

1. Remove the three bolts that attach the tube 58 to the LP compressor/intermediate case rear frame and remove the packing.
2. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolt, the washer, the clip and the nut from clip position 5658.
3. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolt, the washer, the clip and the nut from clip position 6080 and 6087.
4. Disconnect the tube 58 from the tube 57 and remove the tube 58.
5. Disconnect the tubes 23 and 24 from the tube 57 and remove the tube 57.
1. 1. Remove the bolt, the spacer, the clip, the washer and the nut from the clip position 5770.
  2. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolt, the spacer, the clip, the washers and the nut from the clip position 5766.
  3. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolt, the clip and the nut from the clip position 5766.
  4. Disconnect the tube 46 from the tube 61 and remove the seal ring. Remove the tube 46.
2. 1. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts from the clip positions 5700 and 5704.
  2. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts from the clip positions 6079, 6084 and 6088.
  3. Disconnect the tube 67 from the tube 66 and remove the tube 67.
3. 1. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the nut from the clip position 5777.
  2. Disconnect the tube 66 from the air off-take tube on the LP compressor/intermediate case rear frame and remove the tube 66.
1. 1. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the spacers, the clips and the nuts from the clip position 5659 and 6077.
  2. Remove the three bolts that attach the tube 62 to the fuel distribution valve and remove the tube 62.
  3. Remove the sealing ring from the tube 62 and the seal ring from the tube 95 at the bifurcation panel.

2. 1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips, the nuts and the clipnuts from the clip positions 5672, 5673, 5769, 5775 and 5778.
  2. Remove the tubes 33 and 34.
3. 1. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clip and the clipnut from the clip position 5701.
  2. Pre SBE 73-0116: Remove the bolt, two washers, two clips, spacer and nut at the clip position 5747.
  3. SBE 73-0116: Remove the bolt, spacer, clip, washer and nut at the clip position 5747.
  4. Pre SBE 73-0104 and Pre SBE 73-0116: Remove the bolt, two washers, spacer and nut at the clip position 6058.
  5. SBE 73-0104 and SBE 73-0116: Remove the bolt, washer, spacer and nut at the clip position 6058.
  6. Disconnect the tube 43 from the upper connection of the tube 60. Remove the tube 43 and the packing.
4. 1. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts from the clip positions 5748 and 5670.
  2. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts from the clip position 5748.
  3. Disconnect the tubes 28 and 44 from the tube 60 and the tube 27 from the tube 61. Remove the tubes 27, 28 and 44 and remove the three packings.
5. 1. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacer, the clips and the nuts from the clip positions 5648 and 5783.
  2. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacer, the clips and the nuts from the clip positions 5648.
  3. Disconnect the tube 41 from the upper connection of the 61 and remove the tube 41 and the packing.
6. 1. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips, the nuts and the clipnuts from the clip positions 5653, 5666, 5667 and 5668.
  2. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips, the nuts and the clipnuts from the clip positions 5667, 5668, 6076, 6090, 6092, 6097, and 6100.
  3. Remove the tubes 60 and 61 and remove the two preformed packings.
1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.
2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the clipnuts from the clip positions 5644 and 5699 and remove the raceway Core Harness Support Raceways (71-52-50, 05-500).
3. Pre SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips, the nuts and the clipnut from the clip positions 5676, 5650, 5802 and 5803 and remove the raceway Core Harness Support Raceways (71-52-50, 05-100).
4. SBE 72-0189: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips, the nuts and the clipnut from the clip positions 5676 and 6104 and remove the raceway Core Harness Support Raceways (71-52-50, 05-100).
5. NOTE
  The raceways must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).
  Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the clipnuts from the clip positions 5427, 6057 and 5746 and remove the raceway BRACKETS & RACEWAYS-HARNESS SUPPORT-CORE (71-52-50, 04-100).
