General

Refer to the TASKs which follow for the other related procedures:

TASK 72-00-32-020-001-B00 - Remove the hydraulic tubes, the thermal anti-ice (TAI) duct, the pneumatic starter duct and the EEC cooling ducts from the LP compressor/intermediate case module.

TASK 72-00-32-020-002-B00 - Remove the LP compressor/intermediate case electrical harnesses.

TASK 72-00-32-020-004 - Remove the LP compressor/intermediate case components.

TASK 72-00-32-020-005-B00 - Remove the LP compressor/intermediate case brackets and the bifurcation panel.

Fig./item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig./item numbers are used. For Service Bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Apply the approved CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal.

Discard all rubber seal rings, split cotter pins, keywashers and gaskets removed in this procedure.

Remove and discard the lockwire before the tube or connector is disconnected.

All the tubes, hoses and ducts removed in this procedure must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-THD-V2500-1IA).

Seal all openings when the tubes are disconnected to prevent contamination from unwanted material.

NOTE

To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-358 Remove the Tube 239, the Fuel System Air Tube

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 239 to the bracket Fuel System Air Tubes (73-22-49, 03-790).

    3. Disconnect the tube nut which attaches the tube 239 to the No. 1 outer strut tube connection.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1059, 1068, 1073 and 1074. Remove the tube 239.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the bracket Fuel System Air Tubes (73-22-49, 03-790). Temporarily install and tighten the two bolts in the two bracket clipnuts.

    2. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-255 Remove the Tubes 193, 126 and 128 the Scavenge Oil Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1425.

    3. Disconnect the tube 193 from the No. 4 bearing oil pressure transducer and the tube 126. Remove the tube 193.

    4. Disconnect the tube 127 from the tube 126 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0555, 0557 and 1035. Remove the tube 126.

    6. Disconnect and remove the tube 128 from the tube 143.

    3. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-256 Remove the Tubes 122 and 119, the Pressure Oil Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 122 to the ACOC air modulating valve.

    3. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0220 and 1031.

    4. Remove the tube 122 and the sealing ring.

    5. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 119 to the ACOC air modulating valve. Remove the tube and the sealing ring.

    4. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-257 Remove the Tubes 146 to 148 and 198, the HP Compressor (HPC) Bleed Air Tubes

    2. Disconnect the tube 146 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (228 degrees) and tube 149. Remove the tube 146.

    3. Disconnect the tube 198 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (108.8 degrees) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 198.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1025.

    5. Disconnect the tube 148 from the HPC stage 7 and 10 air solenoid valve STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (36-11-57, 01-100) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 148.

    6. Disconnect the tube 147 from the HPC stage 10 solenoid valve AIR-HPC STAGE 10 SOLENOID VALVE (75-32-53, 01-400) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 147.

    5. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-362 Remove the Tube 150 from the Turbine Cooling Controlled Air Tube System (Pre SBE 75-0081)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Disconnect the tube 150 from the stage 10 air solenoid valve AIR-STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (75-23-52, 01-100) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 150.

    6. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-259 Remove the Tube 149, from the HP Compressor Bleed Air Tube System

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts at the clip positions 0554 and 0558.

    3. Disconnect the tube 149 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (51.9 degrees) and the tube 168. Remove the tube 149.

    7. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-260 Remove the Tubes 190 and 189, the Fuel System Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0579 and 0580.

    3. Disconnect the tube 190 from the ACOC air modulating valve. Disconnect the tube 192 from the tube 190. Remove the tube 190.

    4. Disconnect the tube 189 from the ACOC air modulating valve and the tube 188. Remove the tube 189.

    8. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-261-A00 Remove the Right Side Tubes 164, 195, 196, 197, 151, 154 and 241 (Pre SBE 75-0081)

    2. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 241 to the bracket.

    3. Disconnect the tube 241 from the tube 242.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1051, 0594 and 1026. Remove the tube 241.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the nut at the clip position 0591.

    6. Disconnect the tube 151 from the HPC stage 7 and 10 air solenoid valve STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (36-11-57, 01-100). Disconnect the tube 236 from the tube 151. Remove the tube 151.

    7. Disconnect the tube 154 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (51.9 degrees) and the tube 155. Remove the tube 154.

    8. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0599.

    9. Disconnect the tube 197 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (228 degrees) and the tube 160. Remove the tube 197.

    10. Disconnect the tube 196 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (108.8 degrees). Disconnect the tube 144 from the tube 196. Remove the tube 196.

    11. Disconnect the tube 195 (the turbine cooling controlled air tube) from the stage 10 air solenoid valve AIR-STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (75-23-52, 01-100). Disconnect the tube 163 from the tube 195.

    12. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 0590, 1024, 1029 and 1030. Remove the tube 195.

    13. Disconnect the tube 164 from the HPC stage 10 solenoid valve (81.9 degrees) and the tube 165. Remove the tube 164.

    9. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-261-B00 Remove the Right Side Tubes 164, 196, 197, 151, 154 and 241 (SBE 75-0081)

    2. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 241 to the bracket.

    3. Disconnect the tube 241 from the tube 242.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1051, 0594 and 1026. Remove the tube 241.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the nut at the clip position 0591.

    6. Disconnect the tube 151 from the HPC stage 7 and 10 air solenoid valve STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (36-11-57, 01-100). Disconnect the tube 236 from the tube 151. Remove the tube 151.

    7. Disconnect the tube 154 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (51.9 degrees) and the tube 155. Remove the tube 154.

    8. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0599.

    9. Disconnect the tube 197 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (228 degrees) and the tube 160. Remove the tube 197.

    10. Disconnect the tube 196 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (108.8 degrees). Disconnect the tube 144 from the tube 196. Remove the tube 196.

    11. Disconnect the tube 164 from the HPC stage 10 solenoid valve (81.9 degrees) and the tube 165.

    12. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 0590, 1029, 1030 and 1403. Remove the tube 164.

    10. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-262 Remove the Tubes 125 and 169, the Oil Scavenge Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Disconnect and remove the tube 125 from the tube 169 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 1016.

    4. Remove the three bolts LP Compressor (LPC) - Intermediate Structure Module (72-32-00, 01-130) which attach the tube 169 to the LP compressor/intermediate case module and the hot vent tube INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURE OIL & AIR TRANSFER TUBES (72-32-96, 01-100). Remove the tube 169 and the sealing ring.

    5. Lubricate the three bolts (removed in the previous step) with CoMat 10-077 APPROVED ENGINE OILS. Install and tighten the three bolts in the module.

    11. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-263 Remove the Hose 220 and Tubes 159, 135 and 142, the Fuel System Air Tubes (Pre SBE 73-0198 and SBE 73-0198)

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Pre SBE 73-0198: Remove the bolts, the washers, the nut, the clipnut and the clips at the clip positions 1028 and 1027.

    3. SBE 73-0198: Remove the bolts, the washers, the nut, the clipnut and the clips at the clip positions 1482, 1481 and 1017.

    4. Disconnect the tube 158 from the tube 159. Remove the locknut at the bracket and then remove the tube 159.

    5. Pre SBE 73-0198: Disconnect the tube 135 from the tube 137. Remove the locknut at the bracket and then remove the tube 135.

    6. SBE 73-0198: Disconnect the tube 135 from the tube 137. Loosen the P3 union at the bracket and then remove the tube 135.

    7. NOTE

      The clip position 0793 is temporarily installed during TASK 72-00-32-020-001-B00 to attach the tube 142 to the flange FA bracket.

      Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1053, 1054, 1055, 0603, 0793 and 0794. Remove the tube 142 and the hose 220.

    8. Disconnect and remove the hose 220 from the tube 142.

    12. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-368-A00 Remove the Bottom Right Side Tubes 163, 188, 236, 155, 160, 242, 165, 158, 144 and 137 (Pre SBE 73-0198 and Pre SBE 75-0081)

    2. NOTE

      During the removal procedure for the tubes 153 and 155 hold the tubes temporarily at the clip position 0585.

      Remove the bolts, the washers and the clips at the clip positions 0585, 0583 and 0582.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1428.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the two spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1424.

    5. Pre SBE 75-0081: Disconnect the tube 162 from the tube 163. Remove the tube 163.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1433, 1437, 1438, 1439 and 1440. Remove the tube 188.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the spacer at clip position 0581.

    8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips and the nuts at clip position 1409 and 1432.

    9. Disconnect and remove the tube 153 from the tube 236. Remove the tube 236.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips, the spacer and the nut at clip position 1444.

    11. Disconnect the tube 155 from the tube 156. Remove the tube 155.

    12. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0589.

    13. Disconnect the tube 161 from the tube 160. Remove the tube 160.

    14. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0587.

    15. NOTE

      During the removal procedure for the tubes 165 and 137 hold the tubes temporarily at the clip position 0586.

      Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip positions 0584 and 0586.

      Disconnect the tube 242 from the tube 243. Remove the tube 242.

    16. Disconnect the tube 166 from the tube 165. Remove the tube 165.

    17. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0588, 1441 and 1422.

    18. Disconnect the tube 157 from the tube 158. Remove the tube 158.

    19. Remove the bolt, the washers, the clip and the nut at the clip position 1434.

    20. Disconnect the tube 145 from the tube 144. Remove the tube 144.

    21. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1423.

    22. Disconnect the tube 138 from the tube 137. Remove the tube 137.

    13. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-368-B00 Remove the Bottom Right Side Tubes 163, 188, 236, 155, 160, 242, 165, 158, 144 and 137 (SBE 73-0198 and Pre SBE 75-0081)

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. NOTE

      During the removal procedure for the tubes 153 and 155 hold the tubes temporarily at the clip position 0585.

      Remove the bolts, the washers and the clips at the clip positions 0585, 0583 and 0582.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1428.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the two spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1424.

    5. Pre SBE 75-0081: Disconnect the tube 162 from the tube 163. Remove the tube 163.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1433, 1437, 1438, 1439 and 1440. Remove the tube 188.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the spacer at clip position 0581.

    8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the clips and the nuts at clip position 1409 and 1432.

    9. Disconnect and remove the tube 153 from the tube 236. Remove the tube 236.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips, the spacer and the nut at clip position 1444.

    11. Disconnect the tube 155 from the tube 156. Remove the tube 155.

    12. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0589.

    13. Disconnect the tube 161 from the tube 160. Remove the tube 160.

    14. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0587.

    15. NOTE

      During the removal procedure for the tubes 165 and 137 hold the tubes temporarily at the clip position 0584.

      Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip positions 0584 and 0586.

      Disconnect the tube 242 from the tube 243. Remove the tube 242.

    16. Disconnect the tube 138 from the tube 137. Remove the tube 137.

    17. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0588 and 1422.

    18. Disconnect the tube 157 from the tube 158. Remove the tube 158.

    19. Remove the bolt, the washers, the clip and the nut at the clip position 1434.

    20. Disconnect the tube 145 from the tube 144. Remove the tube 144.

    21. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 1423.

    22. Disconnect the tube 166 from the tube 165. Remove the tube 165.

    14. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-369 Remove the Bifurcation Panel Tubes 145, 166, 156, 161, 143 and 216 (Pre SBE 73-0198 and SBE 73-0198)

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1413, 1419 and 1440.

    3. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 145 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 145.

    4. Pre SBE 73-0198: Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1418 and 1420.

    5. SBE 73-0198: Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1418, 1420 and 1431.

    6. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 166 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 166.

    7. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1433 and 1436.

    8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip position 1421, 1437 and 1438.

    9. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 156 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 156.

    10. Pre SBE 73-0198: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1431.

    11. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 161 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 161.

    12. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1417 and 1439.

    13. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 143 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 143.

    14. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1454 and 1455.

    15. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 216 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 216.

    15. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-370 Remove the Tubes 192, 93 and 106 from the Fuel System

    2. Disconnect the tube 192 from the tube 106.

    3. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1415, 1416, 1443 and 1444. Remove the tube 192.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0246, 1065 and 1445. Temporarily attach the raceway Fan Harness Support Raceways (71-51-50, 01-100) to the tube 177 clip with the bolt, the washer and the nut at the clip position 0246.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 93 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 93.

    6. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at clip position 1460.

    7. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 106 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 106.

    16. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-371 Remove the Raceway (71-51-50,01-500)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clips and the nut at the clip positions 1429.

    3. Pre SBE 79-0005: Remove the bolt and clipnut from the bracket Air Cooled Oil Cooler (ACOC) And Inlet Duct (79-21-42, 01-086) at the clip position 0533.

    4. SBE 79-0005: Remove the bolt and clipnut from the bracket Air Cooled Oil Cooler (ACOC) And Inlet Duct (79-21-42, 01-070) at the clip position 0533.

    5. Remove the raceway Fan Harness Support Raceways (71-51-50, 01-500).

    17. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-372 Remove the Tube 204 from the Oil Scavenge System

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts at the clip positions 0927, 1406 and 1430.

    3. Disconnect the tube 204 from the tube 127 and the tube 205 from the tube 204. Remove the tube 204.

    18. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-269 Remove the Tubes 109, 94, 95 and the Fuel Flow Transmitter from the Fuel System

      NOTE

      Some fuel drainage could occur during this procedure. It is recommended that an applicable container is available.

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Remove the tube 109 and the fuel flow transmitter.

      1. NOTE

        The fuel flow transmitter bonding lead which is attached to the raceway bonding lug and is removed during TASK 72-00-32-020-003-B00 (REMOVAL-003, CONFIG-002).

        Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 109 to the fuel flow transmitter. Remove the bracket, the tube 109 and the packing.

      2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0965.

      3. NOTE

        The fuel flow transmitter must have its maintenance completed, as given in the GEC Avionics Component Maintenance Manual (73-31-17).

        Remove the three bolts which attach the fuel flow transmitter to the tube 94. Remove the transmitter, the bracket and the packing.

    3. Disconnect the tube 95 from the tube 94 with the IAE 1R18001 Wrench Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 95 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 95.

    19. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-374 Remove the Raceway (01-700)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clips and the nuts at the clip positions 0556 and 0558.

    3. Remove the raceway Fan Harness Support Raceways (71-51-50, 01-700).

    20. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-375 Remove the Bifurcation Panel Tubes 162, 243, 157, 138, 153 and 168 (Pre SBE 75-0081 and SBE 75-0081)

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1445.

    3. Pre SBE 75-0081: Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 162 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 162.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the spacers and the clips at the clip positions 1413, 1419 and 1426.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 243 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 243.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the spacers and the clips at the clip positions 1415, 1416, 1427 and 1446.

    7. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 157 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 157.

    8. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 138 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 138.

    9. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 153 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 153.

    10. Remove the temporary clip position 1409 for the tube 168.

    11. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1435.

    12. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 168 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 168.

    21. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-272 Remove the Tubes 124 and 127, the Scavenge Oil Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1429.

    3. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 124 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 124.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1407, 1411, 1412 and 1453.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 127 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 127.

    22. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-273 Remove the Electrical Harness Raceway (01-100)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer and the nut which attaches the bonding strap to the raceway at clip position 1463.

    3. Remove the bolt, washer, clips, nut and spacer at the clip position 1457.

    4. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolt, the washer and the nut at the clip position 0255 (which attaches the raceway to the tube 177). Remove the raceway.

    23. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-274 Remove the Tubes 208, 209, 207, 206 and 205, the Scavenge Oil Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Disconnect the tube 208 from the scavenge filter differential pressure switch.

    3. Disconnect the tube 209 from the scavenge filter differential pressure switch.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the spacer at the clip position 0904.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0906. Remove the tubes 208 and 209.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0907 and 0908.

    7. Disconnect the tube 207 from the oil pressure transmitter and the tube 206. Remove the tube 207.

    8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnut, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0909 to 0913 and 0972.

    9. Disconnect the tube 206 from the low oil pressure switch and the tube 205 from the tube 206. Remove the tube 206.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0917.

    11. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0926, 0923 and 0918. Remove the tube 205.

    24. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-275 Remove the Tubes 203, 202 and 201, the Pressure Oil Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Disconnect the tube 203 from the oil pressure transmitter and the tube 202. Remove the tube 203.

    3. Remove the bolt, the spacer, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0914.

    4. Disconnect the tube 202 from the low oil pressure switch and from the tube 201. Remove the tube 202.

    5. Disconnect and remove the tube 201 from the tube 113.

    25. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-276-A00 Remove the Tubes 244, 245, 246, 247 and 248, the Dedicated Alternator Cooling Air Tubes (SBE 75-0010 and Pre SBE 72-0160)

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washers, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1100, 1114 and 1115.

    3. Disconnect the tube 244 from the fan exit pressure boss and the tube 245. Remove the tube 244.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1101 and 1102.

    5. Disconnect the tube 245 from the tube 246. Remove the tube 245.

    6. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1103.

    7. Disconnect the tube 246 from the tube 247. Remove the tube 246.

    8. Disconnect the tube 247 from the tube 248. Remove the tube 247.

    9. Disconnect the tube 248 from the dedicated alternator. Remove the tube 248.

    26. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-276-B00 Remove the Tubes 244, 246, 247 and 248, the Dedicated Alternator Cooling Air Tubes (SBE 72-0160)

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washers, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1114 and 1115.

    3. Disconnect the tube 244 from the fan exit pressure boss.

    4. Remove the bolts, the clipnuts, the nut and the clips at the clip positions 1179, 1180 and 1181.

    5. Disconnect the tube 244 from the tube 246. Remove the tube 244.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacer, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1122 and 1182.

    7. Disconnect the tube 246 from the tube 247. Remove the tube 246.

    8. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0845.

    9. Disconnect the tube 247 from the tube 248. Remove the tube 247.

    10. Disconnect the tube 248 from the dedicated alternator. Remove the tube 248.

    27. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-277 Remove the Tubes 171 and 170, the Fuel System Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 171 to the IDG FCOC.

    3. Disconnect the tube 171 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off. Remove the tube 171, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0755.

    5. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 170 to the IDG FCOC.

    6. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 170 to the fuel diverter and return valve.

    7. Remove the tube 170 with the seal housing and the three sealing rings (at the fuel diverter and return valve). Remove the bracket and sealing ring (at the IDG FCOC).

    28. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-278 Remove the Tubes 98, 99, 97 and 96, the IDG Oil Cooling Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0929.

    3. Disconnect the tube 96 from the tube 98.

    4. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 98 to the IDG FCOC. Remove the tube 98, the bracket and the packing.

    5. Disconnect the tube 97 from the tube 99.

    6. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 99 to the IDG FCOC. Remove the tube 99, the bracket and the packing.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0289.

    8. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0930. Remove the tubes 97 and 96.

    29. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-279 Remove the Tubes 114, 115, 111, 113, 177 and 120, the Pressure Oil Tubes

      NOTE

      Some oil drainage could occur during this procedure. It is recommended that an applicable container is available.

    1. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0304, 1186 and 1187.

    3. Disconnect the tube 115 from the tube 114.

    4. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 114 to the FCOC.

    5. Disconnect the tube 114 from the tube 113 with the IAE 1R18002 Wrench 1 off. Remove the tube 114 and the sealing ring.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0319 and 0759. Remove the tube 115.

    7. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 120 to the FCOC. Remove the tube 120 and the sealing ring.

    8. Disconnect the tube 111 from the tube 113.

    9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0288. Remove the tube 111.

    10. Disconnect the tube 113 from the tube 177 with the IAE 1R18001 Wrench Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 1430. Remove the tube 113.

    11. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 177 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 177.

    30. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-280-A00 Remove the Tubes 117 and 172, the Fuel System Tubes (Pre SBE 73-0078)

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

      2. Remove the Tubes 117 and 172, the Fuel System Tubes as follows:

      1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts, the spacer and the clips at the clip positions 0302 and 0305. Temporarily attach the tube 110 to the bracket with the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0302.

      2. Remove the bolt, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

      3. Disconnect the tube 172 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

      4. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 117 to the FCOC. Remove the tube 117 and the sealing ring.

      5. Remove the restrictor retaining ring and the restrictor from the tube 117.

      6. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 172 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 172, the fire shield, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    31. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-280-B00 Remove the Tubes 172, 117 and (73-11-49,02-300) the Fuel System Tubes (SBE 73-0078)

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

      2. Remove the Tubes 172, 117 and Control Fuel Tubes (73-11-49, 02-300) the Fuel System Tubes as follows:

      1. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts, the spacer and the clips at the clip positions 0302 and 0305. Temporarily attach the tube 110 to the bracket with the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0302.

      2. Remove the bolt, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

      3. Disconnect the tube 172 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench .

      4. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube Control Fuel Tubes(73-11-49, 02-300) to the FCOC. Remove the nuts and bolts that attach the tube Control Fuel Tubes (73-11-49, 02-300) to the tube 117.

      5. Remove the restrictor and the restrictor retainer ring from the tube Control Fuel Tubes (73-11-49, 02-300).

      6. Remove the sealing ring from the tube 117. Remove the tube 117.

      7. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 172 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 172, the fire shield, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    32. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-281 Remove the Tubes 175, 176, 174 and 110, the Power Plant Fuel Tubes

    1. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    2. Disconnect and remove the flexible hoses 175 and 176. Remove the spacer block which attaches the two hoses together.

    3. Disconnect the tubes 110 and 174 from the unions. Remove the bolt, the installed washers, the clipnut and the clip (temporarily installed) at the clip position 0302. Remove the tube 110.

    4. Remove the three bolts which secure the tube 174 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 174 and the packing.

    5. NOTE

      There could be one more washer installed on the top side of the mounting bracket. This is used to reduce the clearance between the bracket and the union.

      Remove the two nuts, the installed washers and the two unions from the mounting bracket.

    33. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-282 Remove the Vibration Transducer Raceway (77-32-15,05-300)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolts and the nuts which attach the raceway to the brackets at the flange FB and FC. Remove the raceway.

    34. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-283 Remove the Vibration Harness Raceway (77-32-43,05-100)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0891.

    3. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolt and the nut which attaches the raceway to the bracket at the flange FB. Remove the raceway.

    35. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-284 Remove the EEC and Ignition Supply Harness Raceway (71-51-42,05-100)

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the bolt and the clipnut which attaches the raceway to the bracket at the flange FB.
