General

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Apply the approved CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal.

Discard all rubber seal rings, split cotter pins, keywashers and gaskets removed in this procedure.

Remove and discard the lockwire before the tube or connector is disconnected.

All the tubes, hoses and ducts removed in this procedure must have their maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-THD-V2500-1IA).

Seal all openings when the tubes are disconnected to prevent contamination from unwanted material.

NOTE

To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-118-A00 Remove the Tube 239, the Fuel System Air Tube (Pre SBE 73-0140)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 239 to the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM AIR TUBES (73-22-49, 03-790).

    4. Disconnect the tube nut which attaches the tube 239 to the No. 1 outer strut tube connection.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1059, 1068, 1073 and 1074. Remove the tube 239.

    6. Remove the two bolts and the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM AIR TUBES (73-22-49, 03-790). Temporarily install and tighten the two bolts in the two bracket clipnuts.

    1. SUBTASK 71-00-32-020-118-B00 Remove the Tube 239, the Fuel System Air Tube (SBE 73-0140)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 239 to the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM AIR TUBES (73-22-49, 03-790).

    4. Disconnect the tube nut which attaches the tube 239 to the No. 1 outer strut tube connection.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1059, 1068, 1073 and 1074. Remove the tube 239.

    6. Remove the two bolts and the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM AIR TUBES (73-22-49, 03-790). Temporarily install and tighten the two bolts and two washers in the two bracket nuts.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-119 Remove the Tubes 193, 126 and 128 the Right Side Tube

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 193 from the No. 4 bearing oil pressure transducer and the tube 126. Remove the tube 193.

    4. Disconnect the tube 127 from the tube 126 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0555, 0557, 0558 and 1035. Remove the tube 126.

    6. Disconnect and remove the tube 128 from the tube 194.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-082 Remove the Tubes 122 and 119, the Pressure Oil Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 122 to the ACOC air modulating valve.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0220 and 1031.

    5. Remove the tube 122 and the sealing ring.

    6. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 119 to the ACOC air modulating valve. Remove the tube and the sealing ring.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-083 Remove the Tubes 146 to 148 and the Tube 198, the HP Compressor (HPC) Bleed Air Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 146 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (228 degrees) and tube 149. Remove the tube 146.

    4. Disconnect the tube 198 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (108.8 degrees) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 198.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1025.

    6. Disconnect the tube 148 from the HPC stage 7 and 10 air solenoid valve STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (36-11-57, 01-100) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 148.

    7. Disconnect the tube 147 from the HPC stage 10 solenoid valve AIR-HPC STAGE 10 SOLENOID VALVE (75-32-53, 01-400) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 147.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-084 Remove the Tube 150 from the Turbine Cooling Controlled Air Tube System

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 150 from the stage 10 air solenoid valve AIR-STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (75-23-52, 01-100) and the tube 149. Remove the tube 150.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-085 Remove the Tube 149 from the HP Compressor (HPC) Bleed Air Tube System

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the nut at the clip position 0580.

    4. Disconnect the tube 149 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (51.9 degrees) and the tube 167. Remove the tube 149.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0579.

    4. Disconnect the tube 190 from the ACOC air modulating valve. Disconnect the tube 191 from the tube 190. Remove the tube 190.

    5. Disconnect the tube 189 from the ACOC air modulating valve and the tube 188. Remove the tube 189.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-120 Remove the Right Side Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure. Figure,Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the locknut which attaches the tube 241 to the bracket.

    4. Disconnect the tube 241 from the tube 242.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clipnut at the clip positions 1051, 0594 and 1026. Remove the tube 241.

    6. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the nut at the clip position 0591.

    7. Disconnect the tube 151 from the HPC stage 7 and 10 air solenoid valve STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (36-11-57, 01-100). Disconnect the tube 152 from the tube 151. Remove the tube 151.

    8. Disconnect the tube 154 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (51.9 degrees) and the tube 155. Remove the tube 154.

    9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0599.

    10. Disconnect the tube 197 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (228 degrees) and the tube 160. Remove the tube 197.

    11. Disconnect the tube 196 from the HPC stage 7 solenoid valve (108.8 degrees). Disconnect the tube 144 from the tube 196. Remove the tube 196.

    12. Disconnect the tube 195 (the turbine cooling controlled air tube) from the stage 10 air solenoid valve AIR-STAGE 10 AIR SOLENOID VALVE (75-23-52, 01-100). Disconnect the tube 163 from the tube 195.

    13. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1024, 1030, 1029 and 0590. Remove the tube 195.

    14. Disconnect the tube 164 from the HPC stage 10 solenoid valve (81.9 degrees) and the tube 165. Remove the tube 164.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-088 Remove the Tubes 125 and 169, the Oil Scavenge Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Disconnect and remove the tube 125 from the tube 169 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

    4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 1016.

    5. Remove the three bolts ENGINE-LP COMP/INTERMEDIATE CASE MODULE(72-32-00, 01-130) which attach the tube 169 to the LP compressor/intermediate case module and the hot vent tube INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURE OIL & AIR TRANSFER TUBES (72-32-96, 01-100). Remove the tube 169 and the sealing ring.

    6. Lubricate the three bolts (removed in the previous step) with CoMat 10-039 ENGINE OIL. Install and tighten the three bolts in the module.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-089 Remove the Tubes 159, 135 and 142, the Fuel System Air Tubes and the Hose 220

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nut, the clipnut and the clips at the clip positions 1028 and 1027.

    4. Disconnect the tube 158 from the tube 159. Remove the locknut at the bracket and then remove the tube 159.

    5. Disconnect the tube 135 from the tube 137. Remove the locknut at the bracket and then remove the tube 135.

    6. NOTE

      The clip position 0793 is temporarily installed during TASK 72-00-32-020-001 to attach the tube 142 to the flange FA bracket.

      Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1053, 1054, 1055, 0603 and 0793. Remove the tube 142 and the hose 220.

    7. Disconnect and remove the hose 220 from the tube 142.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-139 Remove the Clip Position 1048 (SBE 71-0107)

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clip at the clip position 1048.

      Remove the bolts, the washers and the clips at the clip positions 0585, 0583 and 0581.

    4. SBE 75-0050: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0976 EBU harness.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0577.

    6. Remove the bolt, the washer, the two spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0576.

    7. Disconnect the tube 162 from the tube 163. Remove the tube 163.

    8. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0578 and 1036. Remove the tube 188.

    9. Disconnect the tube 192 from the tube 191. Remove the tube 191.

    10. Disconnect and remove the tube 152 from the tube 236.

    11. Disconnect the tube 155 from the tube 156. Remove the tube 155.

    12. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0589.

    13. Disconnect the tube 161 from the tube 160. Remove the tube 160.

    14. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0587.

    15. NOTE

      During the removal procedure for the tubes 165 and 137 hold the tubes temporarily at the clip position 0586.

      Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nut and the clips at the clip positions 0586, 0584 and 0582. Disconnect and remove the tube 242 from the tube 243.

    16. Remove the bolt, the washers, the spacer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0537.

    17. Disconnect the tube 166 from the tube 165. Remove the tube 165.

    18. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0588. Disconnect the tube 157 from the tube 158. Remove the tube 158.

    19. Disconnect the tube 145 from the tube 144. Remove the tube 144.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-122 Remove the Tubes 137 and 194, the Bottom Right Side Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0560.

    4. SBE 75-0050: Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0974 and 0975 EBU harness.

    5. Temporarily attach the tubes 127 and 167 to the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM TUBES-ENGINE (73-11-49, 22-470) at the clip position 0560.

    6. Disconnect the tube 138 from the tube 137. Remove the tube 137.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0562.

    8. Disconnect and remove the tube 194 from the tube 143.

    9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0563.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-123 Remove the Bifurcation Panel Tubes

    2. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip position 0574, 0572 and 1067.

    3. SBE 71-0109: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at clip position 1171.

    4. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 145 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 145.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 166 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 166.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0570 and 1037.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0573.

    8. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 156 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 156.

    9. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 161 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 161.

    10. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 143 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 143.

    11. SBE 71-0109: Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut, and the clip at clip position 1169.

    12. SBE 71-0109: Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 216 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 216.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-124 Remove the Tubes 192, 93 and 106 from the Fuel System

    2. Refer to Figure, Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 192 from the tube 106.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0758, 0928, 0602 and 0564, remove the tube 192. Temporarily attach the tube 162 to the tube 127 at the clip position 0564.

    5. SBE 71-0109: Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0248 and 1168.

    6. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 1065 and 0246. Temporarily attach the raceway BRACKETS & RACEWAYS-HARNESS SUPPORT-FAN (71-51-50, 01-100) to the tube 177 clip with the bolt, the washer and the nut at the clip position 0246.

    7. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 93 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 93.

    8. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 106 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 106.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-097 Remove the Tube 204 from the Oil Scavenge System

    2. Disconnect the tube 204 from the tube 127 and the tube 205 from the tube 204.

    3. Remove the tube 204.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-125 Remove the Tubes 109, 94, 95 and the Fuel Flow Transmitter from the Fuel System

      NOTE

      Some fuel drainage could occur during this procedure. It is recommended that an applicable container is available.
      1. Remove the tube 109 and the fuel flow transmitter.

      2. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 109 to the fuel flow transmitter. Remove the bracket, the tube 109 and the packing.

      3. NOTE

        For the SBE 71-0109 configuration refer to TASK 72-00-32-020-002-A00 (REMOVAL-002).The fuel flow transmitter bonding lead is removed during EEC fan case harness removal at the clip position 1141.

        Pre SBE 71-0109 : Remove the bolt, the two washers and the nut which attaches the fuel flow transmitter bonding lead to the raceway bonding lug. Refer to Figure.

      4. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0965. Refer to Figure.

      5. NOTE

        The fuel flow transmitter must have its maintenance completed, as given in the GEC Avionics Component Maintenance Manual (73-31-17).

        Remove the three bolts which attach the fuel flow transmitter to the tube 94. Remove the transmitter, the bracket and the packing.

    2. Disconnect the tube 95 from the tube 94 with the IAE 1R18001 Wrench. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 95 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 95.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-126-A00 Remove the Bifurcation Panel Tubes (Pre SBE 73-0019)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 162 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the temporary clip position 0564 and remove the tube 162.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0569, 1080 and 0566.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 243 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 243.

    6. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 157 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 157.

    7. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0561 and 0565. Temporarily attach the tube 124 clip to the tube 127 lug at the clip position 0565.

    8. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 138 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 138.

    9. Disconnect the tube 236 from the tube 153. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts temporarily installed in TASK 72-00-32-020-002-A00. Remove the tube 153.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer and the nut at the clip position 1079. Remove the tube 236.

    11. Disconnect the tube 167 from the tube 168. Remove the temporary clip position 0560 for the tube 167. Remove the tube 167.

    12. SBE 71-0109 : Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut, and the clip at clip position 0544.

    13. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 168 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 168.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-126-B00 Remove the Bifurcation Panel Tubes (SBE 73-0019)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 162 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the temporary clip position 0564 and remove the tube 162.

    4. Remove the bolts, the washers, the spacers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0569, 1080 and 0566.

    5. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 243 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 243.

    6. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 157 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 157.

    7. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0561, 0565 and 1118. Temporarily attach the tube 124 clip to the tube 127 lug at the clip position 0565.

    8. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 138 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 138.

    9. Disconnect the tube 236 from the tube 153. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts temporarily installed in TASK 72-00-32-020-002-A00. Remove the tube 153.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the spacer and the nut at the clip position 1079. Remove the tube 236.

    11. Disconnect the tube 167 from the tube 168. Remove the temporary clip position 0560 for the tube 167. Remove the tube 167.

    12. SBE 71-0109 : Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut, and the clip at clip position 0544.

    13. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 168 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 168.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-105 Remove the Tubes 124 and 127, the Scavenge Oil Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 124 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the temporary clip position 0565 which attaches the tube 124 to the tube 127. Remove the tube 124.

    4. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 127 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the temporary clip position 0560 which attaches the tube 127 to the bracket ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM TUBES-ENGINE (73-11-49, 22-470). Remove the tube 127.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-106 Remove the Electrical Harness Raceway (01-100)

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. NOTE

      The bonding strap (and the nut and the bolt which attaches it) is permanently installed on the LP compressor/intermediate case module flange. It is not necessary to remove the bonding strap in this procedure.

      Remove the bolt, the washer and the nut which attaches the bonding strap to the raceway.

    4. Remove the bolt and the clipnut at the clip position 0533.

    5. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolt, the washer and the nut at the clip position 0246 (which attaches the raceway to the tube 177). Remove the raceway.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-107 Remove the Tubes 208, 209, 207, 206 and 205, the Scavenge Oil Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 208 from the scavenge filter differential pressure switch.

    4. Disconnect the tube 209 from the scavenge filter differential pressure switch.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washer and the clips at the clip position 0904.

    6. Remove the bolt, the washers, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0906. Remove the tubes 208 and 209.

    7. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0907 and 0908.

    8. Disconnect the tube 207 from the oil pressure transmitter and the tube 206. Remove the tube 207.

    9. Pre SBE 71-0004: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnut, the nuts and clips at clip positions 0909 to 0913.

      SBE 71-0004: Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnut, the nuts and the clips at positions 0909 to 0911, 0972 and 0913.

    10. Disconnect the tube 206 from the low oil pressure switch and the tube 205 from the tube 206. Remove the tube 206.

    11. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clips at the clip position 0917.

    12. Pre SBE 79-0036: Remove the bolts, the washers and the nuts and clips at clip positions 0926, 0923, and 0918. Remove the tube 205.

      SBE 79-0036: Remove the bolts, the washers and the nuts and clips at clip positions, 0926, 0923 and 0918. Remove the tube 205.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-108 Remove the Tubes 203, 202 and 201, the Pressure Oil Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect the tube 203 from the oil pressure transmitter and the tube 202. Remove the tube 203.

    4. Remove the bolt, the spacer, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0914.

    5. Disconnect the tube 202 from the low oil pressure switch and from the tube 201. Remove the tube 202.

    6. Disconnect and remove the tube 201 from the tube 113.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-140 Remove the Tubes 244, 245, 246, 247 and 248, the Dedicated Alternator Cooling Air Tubes (SBE 75-0010)

    2. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washers, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1100, 1114 and 1115.

    4. Disconnect the tube 244 from the fan exit pressure boss and the tube 245. Remove the tube 244.

    5. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts and the clips at the clip positions 1101 and 1102.

    6. Disconnect the tube 245 from the tube 246. Remove the tube 245.

    7. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip positions 1103 and 1122.

    8. Disconnect the tube 246 from the tube 247. Remove the tube 246.

    9. SBE 71-0110: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0845.

    10. Disconnect the tube 247 from the tube 248. Remove the tube 247.

    11. Disconnect the tube 248 from the dedicated alternator. Remove the tube 248.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-109 Remove the Tubes 171 and 170, the Fuel System Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 171 to the IDG FCOC.

    4. Disconnect the tube 171 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off. Remove the tube 171, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    5. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0755.

    6. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 170 to the IDG FCOC.

    7. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 170 to the fuel diverter and return valve.

    8. Remove the tube 170 with the seal housing and the three sealing rings (at the fuel diverter and return valve). Remove the bracket and sealing ring (at the IDG FCOC).

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-110 Remove the Tubes 98, 99, 97 and 96, the IDG Oil Cooling Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0929.

    4. Disconnect the tube 96 from the tube 98.

    5. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 98 to the IDG FCOC. Remove the tube 98, the bracket and the packing.

    6. Disconnect the tube 97 from the tube 99.

    7. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 99 to the IDG FCOC. Remove the tube 99, the bracket and the packing.

    8. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0289.

    9. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clips and the clipnut at the clip position 0930. Remove the tubes 97 and 96.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-111 Remove the Tubes 114, 115, 111, 113, 177 and 120, the Pressure Oil Tubes

      NOTE

      Some oil drainage could occur during this procedure. It is recommended than an applicable container is available.
    2. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clips at the clip position 0304.

    4. Disconnect the tube 115 from the tube 114.

    5. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 114 to the FCOC.

    6. Disconnect the tube 114 from the tube 113 with the IAE 1R18002 Wrench 1 off. Remove the tube 114 and the sealing ring.

    7. Remove the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the clips at the clip positions 0319 and 0759. Remove the tube 115.

    8. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 120 to the FCOC. Remove the tube 120 and the sealing ring.

    9. Disconnect the tube 111 from the tube 113.

    10. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0288. Remove the tube 111.

    11. Disconnect the tube 113 from the tube 177 with the IAE 1R18001 Wrench. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0321. Remove the tube 113.

    12. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts which attach the tube 177 to the bifurcation panel. Remove the tube 177.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-112-A00 Remove the Tubes 117 and 172, the Fuel System Tubes (Pre SBE 73-0058)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts, the spacer and the clips at the clip positions 0302 and 0305. Temporarily attach the tube 110 to the bracket with the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0302.

    4. Pre SBE 73-0022: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

    5. SBE 73-0022: Remove the bolt, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

    6. Disconnect the tube 172 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

    7. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube 117 to the FCOC. Remove the tube 117 and the sealing ring.

    8. Remove the restrictor retaining ring and the restrictor from the tube 117.

    9. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 172 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 172, the fire shield, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-112-B00 Remove the Tubes 172, 117 and (02-300) the Fuel System Tubes (SBE 73-0058)

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Remove the bolts, the washers, the clipnuts, the spacer and the clips at the clip positions 0302 and 0305. Temporarily attach the tube 110 to the bracket with the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0302.

    4. Pre SBE 73-0022: Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

    5. SBE 73-0022: Remove the bolt, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0306.

    6. Disconnect the tube 172 from the tube 117 with the IAE 1R18003 Wrench 1 off.

      1. Remove the three bolts which attach the tube ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM TUBES-ENGINE (73-11-49, 02-300) to the FCOC. Remove the nuts and bolts that attach the tube ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM TUBES-ENGINE (73-11-49, 02-300) to the tube 117.

      2. Remove the restrictor and the restrictor retainer ring from the tube ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-FUEL SYSTEM TUBES-ENGINE (73-11-49, 02-300).

      3. Remove the sealing ring from the tube 117.

    7. Remove the tube 117.

    8. Remove the two bolts which attach the tube 172 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 172, the fire shield, the seal housing and the three sealing rings.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-113 Remove the Tubes 175, 176, 174 and 110, the Power Plant Fuel Tubes

    2. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. Disconnect and remove the flexible hoses 175 and 176. Remove the spacer block which attaches the two hoses together.

    4. Disconnect the tubes 110 and 174 from the unions. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut an the clip (temporarily installed) at the clip position 0302. Refer to Figure. Remove the tube 110.

    5. Remove the three bolts which secure the tube 174 to the fuel diverter and return valve. Remove the tube 174 and the packing.

    6. NOTE

      There could be one more washer installed on the top side of the mounting bracket. This is used to reduce the clearance between the bracket and the union.

      Remove the two nuts, the two washers and the two unions from the mounting bracket.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-114 Remove the Vibration Transducer Raceway (05-100)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolts and the nuts which attach the raceway to the brackets at the flange FB and FC. Remove the raceway.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-115 Remove the Vibration Harness Raceway (05-100)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt, the washer, the clipnut and the clip at the clip position 0891.

    4. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolt and the nut which attaches the raceway to the bracket at the flange FB. Remove the raceway.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-020-116 Remove the EEC and Ignition Supply Harness Raceway (05-100)

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the bolt and the clipnut which attaches the raceway to the bracket at the flange FB.

    4. NOTE

      The raceway removed in this procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM-MECH-V2500-1IA).

      Remove the bolt, the washer, the nut and the clip at the clip position 0890. Remove the raceway.
